Our experience was disappointing due to several issues. The stairs leading to our Queen Suite were quite steep, making it challenging to carry our luggage. We expected luxury but instead found an uncomfortable atmosphere, with poor service and unwelcoming staff. The noise outside was unbearable and disrupted our stay every night.

Lush Atitlan is a true oasis with exquisite gardens and stunning decor. The common areas are easily accessible, which made my stay comfortable. Additionally, the views of the lake and volcanoes from every vantage point are simply breathtaking.

Couple getaway, perfect nature escape

The atmosphere was beautiful, sinking into nature like it was made for me you know. in our cave room, the natural rock was incorporated so well into the design, it felt like we were living in nature itself. The outdoor dining where we had breakfast was just stunning! Like, what a way to wake up.

It wasn't exactly budget-friendly, but honestly it was worth it.

This place is a tropical paradise! Loved the spacious room, especially the huge bathroom with outdoor vibes. Breakfast was super simple but that fresh bread hit the spot! Just watch out for some wobbly windows that creaked a lot at night. Still, the views of the lake and mountains are totally worth it.

The views from the property are postcard-perfect, showcasing stunning panoramas of multiple volcanoes that light up the entire experience. The unique design of the structures, incorporating local artistry in the craftsmanship, gives it an authentic, immersive feel that sets it apart from typical tourist spots.

Getting to the rooms involves navigating a confusing and narrow path, with steep stairs that are tricky after dark—definitely not ideal for travelers with heavy luggage or mobility concerns. The mattresses are harder than I’d like, possibly leaving you sore after a long day. Moreover, the lack of sound insulation clearly allows outdoor noise and the barking of a nearby dog to disrupt restful sleep throughout the night. Breakfast preparation takes a frustratingly long time, and the food itself didn't impress given the steep price tag. Some rooms also lack proper window coverings, leading to waking up at the crack of dawn with sunlight streaming in.

Rooms are picturesque but suffer from thin walls and numerous bugs – a downside for the price point. Despite the charming gardens and good breakfast, the lack of toilet paper disposal and poor shower pressure were disappointing. However, the fresh fish dish was a highlight, and the staff was lovely and accommodating.

It was just an ideal choice for a brief pause in San Marcos La Laguna with great value. The views are probably some of the best around Atitlan. Just bring ear plugs for the windy nights.
